The KONI FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology enhances standard shock absorbers by integrating an additional FSD valve. This valve controls a parallel oil flow alongside the primary flow through the piston assembly. When activated, the FSD valve adjusts to close this parallel flow, resulting in a rise in damping forces almost linear to the duration the piston moves in one direction.
